Assessment and Reporting
Your child’s learning and development will be continually
assessed and ongoing observations made by educators will be
documented. These provide the basis for planning the learning
program offered. Your child’s progress and development will
be recorded and assessed through written and photographic
evidence and work samples.
Communication with you and your child about their learning will
occur informally through conversation, digitally on The Dash
and in writing through notes in their planner. In addition, a
structured program of formative assessment will occur.
In Term 1, ‘Parent Student Teacher’ conferences provide the
opportunity to discuss your child’s start to the year, their current
stage of development and goals for the future.
